Spring 2025 Paid Registration Includes:
- 8 Spring soccer games
- 1 Uniform (jersey, shorts, socks)
- 1 Soccer ball
- Referee fees (for U10 teams and older)
Who is eligible to register?
- Orem Youth Recreation Soccer is for players ages 4-18.
- Each player must be at least 4 years old on or before December 31, 2024.
- If your child turns 4 after December 31, 2024 the player is too young for the Spring seasons.
Players will be placed on teams by individual age group coordinators.
Buddy requests are not guaranteed. Players will be placed on available teams.
Please make sure that the email address you use to register your player is current as that is our main form of communication.
- ALL participants (ages 4-18) will be placed into divisions based on their age as of December 31.
- OYS Age divisions are U6, U8, UVU Jr.'s (U8+)*, U10, U13, Coed (13-18yr) (U = "Under the age of" as of December 31).
- *UVU Jr.'s (U8+ Coed) will be for those players 6/7 years old (not old enough for competition soccer), who want a more competitive soccer experience through our recreation program.
- Boys play on teams with other boys and girls play on teams with other girls. (U13-U19 will be Coed play)
- 4/5 years old play together in U6. 6/7 years old play together in U8 and so on.
- The Coed division is for our teenage players age 13-18.
- Players may play up one age division and must be approved.
- Teams are approximately the same for both fall and spring.
- If a team isn't full in the fall, new players may be added to that team in the spring.
- Players are responsible for shin guards and closed toe shoes, which are mandatory for games and practices.
- If cleats are desired they must be soccer cleats (without the front toe cleat and no metal cleats).
- No type of jewelry can be worn.
Spring season games will begin late March. Plan for approximately one to two games and one practice per week.
Most games are on Saturdays.
All recreation games will be played at Lakeside Sports Complex (1850 W 400 S, Orem, UT 84058).
Practice days, times and locations are determined by each coach.
Practices will be held at a field other than the fields at Lakeside Sports Complex, usually at an elementary school.
Orem Youth Soccer is a volunteer organization. Coaches and Team Managers are volunteer parents of players on each team. You will be asked to help fill these positions.
Once Registered, parents can view their account by clicking on user login box at the top left Registration is not complete until you have printed all registration receipts. You will be notified by email, that it has been completed.

For those interested in a more competitive level of play, tryouts for District and State level teams will be held around Memorial day. Dates and times are posted on our website at uvufc.org.
